The Parkinson's Disease Society is the leading authority in the UK on the condition and a world leader in research. We campaign for a better quality of life for people with Parkinson's wherever they live in the UK. We provide expert information on all aspects of Parkinson's and a local support network. Our work is totally dependent on voluntary donations and we are heavily reliant on legacies in people's wills.

If you or a member of your family has Parkinson's, you may need one-to-one support to help deal with the condition.
Your Information and Support Worker can provide:

• up-to-date information on Parkinson's
• emotional support to you and your family
• information about benefits and help with the application process
• information about and links to your local services
• a supporting voice if you need to complain or are having problems getting your needs assessed
• links to other Parkinson's Disease Society services, such as our Helpline, website, information resources, and local branches and support groups
